A few kind words

At the time we selected Neil & Duncan of Lilburn & Elliott Construction from our tender shortlist, we were already impressed with their open and collaborative manner. They are excellent problem solvers, taking a pragmatic approach and considerable pride in their work - getting their colleagues to do so too.

A comment we had from a friend visiting after the project completion who held a senior position in a national construction company was, "You can tell this was built by people who cared." We would say this was a very accurate summary of our experience throughout the build. As with any building project, not everything went as originally intended, but Neil & Duncan always made sure we were informed and any implications made clear. They were also very flexible to our changes of mind too!

With a strong focus on quality and a desire to create a lasting final impression, Neil & Duncan have provided us with a finished house admired by many. We have literally had people stop us as they pass by to compliment us on how the house looks now.

We started with a tired, much-altered 1930s dormer bungalow. Following the vision of our architect, Stephen Guard, Lilburn & Elliott have given us a lovely home to suit the local area - thank you.
