The Lanterns

Small Development in Hope Cove

The Lanterns is located in the village of Hope Cove right on the coastline. We constructed three buildings joined together, each containing 5 luxury apartments.

The shell of the building was constructed in Nudura ICF; the sea-facing elevation had a twist in the gables to optimise the sea views. 

The building's heating supply was split between air source heat pumps from New Heat and Calor LPG gas. 

The first two plots had 8 PV solar panels on each roof to assist with the efficiency of the electrical costs. 

The finishes on the building were Rationel windows/doors throughout.

Engineered wood flooring throughout 

Full wet room trays and tanking systems to each en-suite/bathroom. 

A mixed external facade of clay tile hung walls, stone cladding, and silicone render finish. 

The balconies were all finished with a 20mm porcelain pedestal system. 

The extensive drive area was laid with permeable Marshall pavers.
