Refurbishment in Salcombe

Leigh Hill is a very light and spacious home situated at the top of Salcombe. 

The works consisted of single and double extensions to the front of the property and a single flat roof extension to the rear; also, a full internal refurbishment of the existing rooms was carried out.

This large project was a success with linking modern aspects into a traditional-style building. Upgrading the existing floor areas with a wet underfloor heating system meant the use of ground floor radiators was not needed. 

Opening up the rear of the building with a steel frame to form the ground floor rear extension with a solar-glazed roof lighting adds lots of natural light into the space, with large-format, triple sliding, glazed doors bringing the feeling of the outside inside.

The whole ground floor was tiled with porcelain tiles with a flush internal/external threshold linking with the external porcelain paving also.

The scheme was landscaped with the same level of detail as the inside with bespoke scaffold board fencing and tiered garden walling.

The roof work on the extensions was clad with VM Zinc which has given it a striking look from the roadside.
